How do I know if my pavers need sealing or stripping?

Pour water on the surface. If it soaks in, the sealer is gone and you just need a fresh coat. If the surface looks white, hazy, or blotchy, the old sealer is failing and needs to be fully stripped before we can reseal.

Can you seal over a failing coat instead of stripping it?

No. Sealing over a failing coat traps the problem underneath and causes the new sealer to fail much faster. The only proper fix is to fully strip the old product and start fresh.

Why did my pavers turn white after they were sealed?

White or hazy pavers almost always mean a solvent based sealer was applied incorrectly or over damp pavers. The moisture in Jacksonville's ground gets trapped under the sealer and creates the white haze. The fix is to fully strip the old sealer and reseal using a commercial grade water based product applied the right way.

How long does paver sealing or stripping take?

Most residential jobs take one full day. Larger areas, severe sealer failure, or combined strip and reseal jobs may take two visits. We give you a time estimate when we confirm your quote.

How long does paver sealing last in Jacksonville?

Our 2-coat commercial flood seal system lasts 3 to 5 years depending on foot traffic, sun exposure, and weather. Driveways and high traffic areas typically need resealing closer to the 3-year mark.

Will the stripping chemical damage my landscaping or pool?

We protect landscaping, pool equipment, and surrounding surfaces before we start. We never use bleach. Our products are professional grade and safe for your property when applied correctly.

Do I need to move vehicles and furniture before the crew arrives?

Yes. Please clear the paver area before we arrive. Vehicles should be out of driveways and portable furniture moved off patios and pool decks so we can access the full surface.

How long do I need to stay off my pavers after sealing?

We recommend staying off sealed pavers for 24 to 48 hours. Vehicles should stay off driveways for at least 72 hours after a seal job to allow the sealer to fully cure.

Is stripping worth it or should I just replace my pavers?

Stripping and resealing is almost always the better value. Replacing pavers is significantly more expensive and usually unnecessary unless there is structural damage, settling, or cracking underneath. A proper strip and reseal restores your pavers to like-new condition for a fraction of the cost of replacement.

Exterior Cleaning Designed for Ponte Vedra Beach Homes

What Ocean Air Actually Does to Your Property

Ponte Vedra Beach is one of the most desirable communities in Northeast Florida but living steps from the Atlantic comes with a cost your property pays daily. Salt air coats every exterior surface and creates a corrosive layer that accelerates the growth of algae, mold, and mildew. It does not just sit on top either. It works its way into paint, roofing material, stone, and wood and breaks them down from the inside out if left untreated.

Homes set back from the beach in Ponte Vedra face a different problem. Daily irrigation overspray leaves hard water stains on stucco and glass, mature landscaping keeps roofs and walkways shaded and damp, and HOA standards leave little room for a stained driveway or a streaked roof. Coastal properties need more frequent cleaning and a crew that understands how salt exposure changes the approach. We use soft wash roof cleaning to safely remove buildup without stripping protective coatings. Our pressure washing targets salt residue on driveways, walkways, and pool decks. And our natural stone sealing and paver sealing lock in protection against the constant moisture and UV exposure your hardscaping faces every day.

We follow the standards set by the Power Washers of North America (PWNA) and bring a coastal specific approach to every Ponte Vedra Beach property we work on.

Coastal Exterior Cleaning for Every Ponte Vedra Beach Property

Ponte Vedra Beach properties face a unique combination of salt spray, wind driven sand, and intense UV exposure that no inland community has to deal with. That constant coastal assault wears down surfaces faster than most homeowners and business owners expect. We work with property owners along the beach to keep exteriors clean and protected, with cleaning schedules built around how fast salt and sand build up.

Residential
Pressure Washing Services

Salt does not knock before it shows up. It lands on your roof, coats your windows, settles into your pavers, and slowly eats away at every surface it touches. Most homeowners do not see the damage until it has already set in. We stay ahead of it with scheduled cleanings that clear salt buildup before it has time to break surfaces down.

Commercial
Pressure Washing Services

Ponte Vedra Beach attracts a clientele that expects excellence and that expectation starts at the curb. Resorts, restaurants, professional offices, and retail spaces along the coast need to look pristine at all times. We make sure your business exterior never falls short of that standard. Why We Are Ponte Vedra Beach's Preferred Cleaning Team

We Specialize in Coastal Properties

Cleaning a home in Ponte Vedra Beach is not the same as cleaning one ten miles inland. Salt corrosion, sand abrasion, and constant ocean moisture require a completely different approach. We clean coastal properties every single week and we have refined our process to account for every challenge the Atlantic throws at your home or business.

Premium Products for Premium Properties

We do not use generic off the shelf cleaning solutions on Ponte Vedra Beach homes. Our products are selected based on the surfaces we are cleaning and the conditions they are exposed to. For natural stone we use Surfacelogix stone safe cleaners and ICT penetrating sealers, which clean and protect the stone without etching the surface.

Your Schedule. Your Terms.

We Protect What Matters Most

Every cleaning method we use is chosen to protect your surfaces while delivering visible results. We never take risks with the wrong pressure or the wrong chemical on the wrong material. Roofs and stucco get a low-pressure soft wash, natural stone gets stone safe cleaners, and driveways and walkways get the full pressure they need.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How often should I pressure wash my Ponte Vedra Beach home?

Most Ponte Vedra Beach homes need a cleaning every four to six months. Salt from the ocean air settles on siding, windows, and roofs year round, so it builds up faster than it would on a home farther inland. Waiting a full year gives that salt time to start breaking down paint, roofing, and sealants.

Can pressure washing remove sand that has worked into my paver joints?

Yes. We flush out the compacted sand and debris that wind pushes into paver joints, then re-sand the joints and seal the pavers to lock everything in place. Sealed joints also slow weed growth between the pavers.

Can you clean travertine pavers without etching the surface?

Yes. Travertine reacts to acid and bleach, so we clean it with stone safe cleaners and low-pressure soft washing instead of a standard pressure wash. Once the stone is clean and dry, we apply a penetrating sealer to protect it from staining and moisture.

My stucco has white salt deposits on it. Can you remove that?

Yes. White deposits on stucco are usually efflorescence, which is mineral salt that moisture pulls out of the stucco. On Ponte Vedra Beach homes, salt spray from the ocean adds to the buildup. We remove it with a gentle cleaning solution and a low-pressure rinse, since high pressure can crack stucco. Sealing afterward helps slow its return.

Will pressure washing remove the green algae on my seawall?

Yes. We remove green algae, barnacles, and salt deposits from concrete and stone seawalls in Ponte Vedra Beach. We match the pressure and cleaning solution to the seawall material so the growth comes off without damaging the surface.

The best part of this job is hearing we got it right.

Adin and his helper were very professional and thorough. They did a fantastic job cleaning my metal roof. Also, Adin went over and above and cleaned my Vinyl walls on my detached garage. I will definitely be calling him when i need my roof cleaned again. I highly recommend Hydro Wash 360!

I had Hydro Wash 360 power wash my house, driveway, walks and about 250’ of vinyl fence and I couldn’t be happier. Adin, the owner, was a pleasure to work with. Very professional, accommodating, respectful and knowledgeable about his trade. My house and fence have never been cleaner or shinier. He was also more than half the cost of the other bids I got. Call him and let him bid your job—I guarantee you’ll be glad you did.

I recently had the pleasure of using Hydro Wash 360, and I must say, they did an amazing job! From start to finish, their service was professional, efficient, and thorough. The team was punctual and took great care in cleaning every nook and cranny, leaving my house, patio and driveway spotless. I highly recommend Hydro Wash 360 for anyone looking for top-notch pressure washing cleaning services.

I am a Community Association Manager (CAM) that received a recommendation for an estimate from a Board Member several months back. The Board elected to hire Hydro Wash 360 for the job and I was beyond impressed at the new life they brought to a fence that was heavily in need of some TLC. That interaction set the stage for Adin to be my go-to vendor. He is the first person I reach out to when I need a quote and his response time is excellent as well as the work he puts in.
